I’m a CNRS researcher, currently based at the institut UTINAM, in Besançon, France.
My research work consists in the study of the stellar evolution and nucleosynthesis, stellar pulsations, as well as the chemical evolution of the Milky Way and its stellar populations.
I focus on the effects of transport processes of angular momentum and chemical species on the stellar structure and surface properties. I study in particular giant stars, by comparing theoretical patterns with spectroscopic, asteroseismic and astrometric observations.
I investigate in detail the consequences of these aspects on the chemical evolution of our Galaxy ; and on the properties of Galactic stellar populations.
All these theoretical developments are strongly connected with observational projects on European and American facilities.
